Watson Cabin I-9 Built in 1909 by Robert Montgomery Watson, this
living museum depicts life at Tahoe at the turn of the century. Tours are
conducted by guides dressed in period costumes. Located on North Lake
Blvd., across from the Family Tree in Tahoe City. Open noon to 4pm.
Fanny Bridge 1-9 Highway Bridge over the
Truckee River at the "Y" in Tahoe City. Watch fish frolic below the gates
of Lake Tahoe's only outlet.
Scenic Highway 431 Overlook F-15 This
pull-out on the Mt. Rose Highway provides plaques pointing out major peaks
and one of the best photo opportunities for a panoramic view of Lake
Tahoe.
Squaw Valley H-7 The torch from the 1960 Olympics marks the
entrance on Hwy. 89 to the scenic valley with its magnificent views,
picturesque meadows, and meandering Squaw Creek.
